Group Learning Experiences

What if purpose isn’t a thing you find but an art you practise?
What if your path isn’t a road in front of you but the imprints you leave behind?
What if play isn’t a childish folly but your gateway to reimagining what’s possible?

I facilitate learning experiences in the intimacy of people’s homes across London for groups of friends who seek:
… to live with more purpose, creativity and possibility
… to deepen meaningful connection within their social groups
… to generate aliveness within themselves and the world around them

These experiences are the result of more than 20 years immersing myself in the art of meaning-making: working with hospice patients for Thoughts in Passing, designing learning experiences for a million students with Wayfinder, reimagining human meaning for The Forgotten Teachers, and studying degrees in philosophy, psychology and anthropology.

If you are interested in hosting or would like to explore a bespoke experience, please get in touch.

  • Group learning experiences are run as 4 x 2.5 hour sessions or over a weekend and include an individual coaching session for each participant. Baked into the heart of this work is the belief that the art of meaning-making is playful, creative and compassionate.

In the sessions we will make, imagine, write, draw, play, move and experiment. We will explore the ideas of philosophers, psychologists, artists and scientists, and try evidence-based practices grounded in theory and research. Crucially, we will draw upon the transformative power of poetry, art and music.

  • I offer two different group learning experiences:

Planting Purpose: A Personal Practice explores how we can live more purposefully by using our strengths in service of a meaningful vision beyond ourselves. Planting Purpose is helpful for anyone seeking more purpose in their life, or who finds themselves at a crossroads, in the midst of transition or feeling stuck. Participants will come away with practical tools for living in alignment with what matters most to them.

Aligning Purpose: A Collective Practice explores how we can collectively live more purposefully by collaborating around common causes. We will learn how to uncover mutual values and diverse strengths so we can use them in service of a shared vision. Aligning Purpose is designed for groups of people who want to engage more purposefully together (eg. friends, neighbours, school parents, colleagues, family members).

  • We gather to learn and practice the art of meaning-making together because homes and established social groups provide an ideal setting for personal and collective growth.

Why? Because when we explore with people we know, we build on an existing foundation of trust and can meaningfully support each other’s growth. When we collaborate in a group, our diverse perspectives can serve as gifts to one another. And when we gather in a home, we create an environment of belonging which provides fertile space for great ideas to emerge.

  • You don’t need anything special to host a learning experience in your home — just space to gather a small group of 4-6 people around a table or in a living room.

I will work with you to understand your group’s needs, bring all the materials, facilitate the experience and help you think about how to curate the setting.

Transformative. Deeply rooted in theory and immensely practical, it quickly became the favourite moment of my week. It was a real gift to our group of friends.

Claudia’s approach speaks to both the brain and the soul. The sessions stretched my mind into corners I hadn’t previously explored.

When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.
